TOOFY - LIVE JOYENGINE ART

So… to kick off the Toofy Film Fest festivities last week we threw down some live Toofy inspired art out in front of the shop. We got pretty juvenile with it and went streetstyle (lots of cut paper and buckets of JE’s special recipe wheat paste), and the shit came out hot. A good chunk of the crew collaborated on this one including, Toofy’s very own Mark Siebert, Markham “Shitty Kitten” Maes, Lifter Baron, Scot Lefavor, small-but-dangerous, Alex Henry, and Todd “teebee” Berger. The pieces sorta moved around throughout the film fest, 2 have already sold, but one is still available - yo! Stop by the shop to check ‘em out.

With the economy in shambles and the media preaching fear like it’s their job, shit’s gettin’ crazy. One thing to be on the lookout for this holiday season… clients. They come wearing many disguises, talking big game, and spewing all sorts of… well, often just spewing. So, here’s a little tip to all the idependent professional creatives out there, when they(clients) feel compelled to tell you just how deep their pockets are - odds are they’ve got short arms. That’s it. Deep Pockets - Short Arms. Heard that one from a buddy the other day, and it couldn’t be more dead-on. Take it or leave it. Just be on the lookout for anything remotely resembling a baby seal wearing high-end denim. It’s probably not what it seems.
