iMated

Sevnthsin just launched its first commercial iPhone app called iMated. We’ve been spending a lot of time lately building various mobile apps for clients and figured what better way to experiment in the medium than build one for you too! For more information on the app please take a peek at the iMated site swing by the iTunes store to pick up one of your very own. Woot woot! Now go get mated.

I WAS JUST RIDING ALONG…

By: Juan Alberto De la Roca

Funny how many ‘hipsters‘ know little about maintaining their cool track bike, cause you can only get so far before you have to eventually change a tire. You eventually have to care…Maybe the unfriendly attitude of a bike mechanic does serve a purpose.

Don’t just chase the DIY aesthetic, embrace it as a chance to learn something.

TOUR DE SOCAL APRIL 2009

By: Juan Alberto De la Roca

I just got back from a week in southern California…Here are five takeaways from this trip.

1. ‘We Live in Public‘ will be a much discussed film in 2009. The documentary’s director is a friend and she shared some interesting insights to the movie. Don’t be surprised if it wins an Oscar next year. Be prepared to re-examine how you interact with the digital world.

2. A drive from Oceanside to Pasadena, to Venice, and back to Oceanside in a day will inspire a person to ride a bike more often. Don’t recommend undertaking this endeavor, unless of course it’s for a good reason. Mine was fortunately.

3. “Tweet that shit” was a recurring phrase throughout the week…If looking for good Korean BBQ estilo Mexicano while at Venice/Santa Monica check out Kogi BBQ

4. Oceanside Skate Park is a lot of fun and defintely worth a visit. Although, the park is situated far from the beach. Venice’s park on the other hand is going to be off the hook…

5. Orange County is an open range for cats on the prowl. Heard outside a really terrible restaurant/night club in Newport Beach. “I’m going to get my cougar ass in there before it’s all said and done.” Cue bad electronica music…

SPREAD THE LOVE!

By: Josh Holland

I am so unbelievably tired of hearing about Twitter and the broadcasting of the inane minutia of people’s lives. But it didn’t really bother me until I realized that I can’t listen to the news anymore without hearing someone’s idiotic opinion (-er tweet) broadcast as if they have any idea what they’re talking about. Then I started hearing about politicians picking this up as a way to “connect” with regular people, when all it really amounts to is time wasting propaganda and nonsense. I can not wait until Twitter goes the way of the slap bracelet and they’re talking about it on VH1’s “I love the 2000’s”. Wait, is that what it’s called? The 2000’s? Hold on, let me tweet that and see what my idiot friends think.

Click the pic to download the PDF and spread my love for all things Twitter.
