Damn, it’s stories like this that make skateboarding so powerful and meaningful. It’s why if you roll, you never quit. Kind of was in a really pissed off mood yesterday and then I watched this video and found the means to just let things go for the night…

The photos capture the essence of desire, motivation, and passion in my opinion. Big ups to the kids of Kitintale, Uganda. Seriously doubt Idi Amin would have ever condoned the act of building a skate spot…Power to the young to create change! – Kitintale Skatepark

Second Saturday Sangria on Colfax

Second Saturday Sangria served up on the Super Block this Saturday January 9th. Swing down to East Colfax and take in some new work by two Denver based creatives: Dave Palmer will have new work in the form of paintings hanging on the walls of Plastic Chapel and Photographer Matthew Novack will have some freshly mounted photos on display at The Shoppe. Two super rad dudes do super rad things… roll through and show them both some love!

Opening reception for both shows is January 9th from 7PM – 10PM
