Hyland and Malia, with RELOAD, will be hosting their first show in Amsterdam this October! Evan Hecox will be having his solo debut in Amsterdam at local gallery Chiellerie on October 24th. If you have a chance to swing by, give the Mathers a hi-five with love from all those they left behind.
was there and thought there were definitely aspects of the discussion that kicked it. i wish there would have been more time spent talking about the parking garage (it’s design, functionality, how this could be handled in the US). hope there will be more of this type of discussion and hope there will be a lady on the panel next time. though all gentleman are hunky, a lady’s perspective might be a breathe of fresh air. there’s gotta be a female in Colorado that’s doing inspiring, provacative design. right?
September 22, 1:25 pm sarahAgreed. Ian did a great job of moderating given that we only had an 1 hour and half. The parking garage discussion could go on for days… He had 15+ more intriguing topics to hit, but time didn’t allow. And, yes, we’ve got get some ladies involved in the conversation. They’re out there for sure. I’ll definitely rap with Ian about that.
September 22, 1:34 pm TEEBEEI was bummed I had to miss this. Did anyone shoot video? I’d really like to see a site built for Applied Ideas that hosts “webisodes” of the discussions.
September 22, 1:48 pm AaronLove the webisodes discussion idea. This could generate topics of debate to introduce into discussion at the next panel. I’ll bet anything that Ian, the superhero, has it on his endless To Do list.
thanks for the update tb.
September 22, 1:52 pm sarahTodd - thanks a ton for being a part of the conversation. Much respect and great job. I’m working on next volume so all suggestions are welcome. And thanks to everyone for joining us - we’re looking to create a open dialogue out there so get in contact with me if you’ve got anything to add. Stay tuned for Volume Two…
September 22, 8:58 pm IanMeee, too so sorry I had to miss this one. Did anyone video or transcribe the chat? If so, please point me in that direction. At the rate that Denver is evolving, growing with its at home talent…having it all compiled on video is a documentary/book waiting to happen - oh and did I mention, totally RAD. Cheering you all on from the sidelines…
September 23, 11:45 am Jennajenna
working on video & soon I’ll release the keynote once I get the appropriate credits in there and links so people can learn more…
September 23, 3:27 pm IanBummed I couldnt have been there…
September 23, 5:34 pm Lifter BaronYes, I was in NYC for a commercial shoot, otherwise I most definitely would have been there. Norm said it went great though and it sounds like you guys had a lot to talk about. Congrats on a successful first discussion.
