Alex and I just checked out Alfonso Cuarón’s new film, CHILDREN OF MEN. It was pretty mind blowing. Here’s the deal: England, the year 2027 in an apocalyptic near-future, humans can no longer procreate (women are infertile), a one time activist turned regular down and out dude (Clive Owen) agrees to help his ex-wife now “terrorist” (Julianne Moore) transport a miraculously pregnant woman to the british coast via any means possible in an effort to rekindle hope and save mankind. Go and see it. Michael Caine plays a stellar unbelievably positive dope-growing ex-radical. Keep your eyes open for the super-stealthy Banksy pieces in the background.
