I WAS JUST RIDING ALONG…

Funny how many ‘hipsters‘ know little about maintaining their cool track bike, cause you can only get so far before you have to eventually change a tire. You eventually have to care…Maybe the unfriendly attitude of a bike mechanic does serve a purpose.
Don’t just chase the DIY aesthetic, embrace it as a chance to learn something.

I admit I’m interested in this post since I’m into bikes, but there’s 4 directions this post is trying to go and it gets to none of them. What’s shakin?
June 9, 12:32 pm Alex SkazatAh, lots…been spending a lot of time in a Denver bike shop this spring. Above is based on my observations.
#1 too many people don’t know how to change a tire, hence vid
#2 too many out there want to look and act the part of hip and cool, attitude included, but unwilling to become more self sufficient
Glad to see this has you thinking in many directions. Sometimes my head is a mashup and it finds its way out in some of my posts.
June 9, 12:45 pm Juan Alberto De la RocaIt’s hard to change a tire with tight pants… speaking from experience.
June 10, 7:31 am Todd Byes to: hipsters / roadbikers / bmx / rickshaw driver / commuter / track racer / mnt. biker
no need to: spinners / generator drivers / reclaimers
June 10, 9:52 am MMMAh, TB and his tight pants.
June 10, 3:45 pm JustinHe makes it look so easy haha. He should try that with a brand new folded tire from a box.
June 11, 12:33 pm PaulaI’ve actually personally seen TB change a tire in like 2 seconds while wearing extremely tight denim shants, a pink headband, a gray v-neck, dreamcatcher earrings and some vintage air force 1s that pantone match the aforementioned pink headband and gray v-neck as well as having denim hits on them and man… it’s a sight to behold… For real.
