BARACK OBAMA: HOPE IS ALIVE!!!
29.08.08
I had never felt such a sense of nationalism, nor experienced the caliber of pride that can come with being an American as I did last night. Call it a coming of age, or just plain disdain for the current administration, but as Barack Obama accepted the presidential nomination, tears rolled and nearly 80,000 Americans came together as one. The feeling was beyond amazing and emotionally overwhelming. It was clearly time for Obama to elevate his game, bring some tough talk to John McCain, layout a plan for manifesting the sort of hope he promotes, and to connect with the Middle Americans that have missed his message. Barack did all of those things and more last night. 45 years to the day after Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech on the Mall in Washington, Barack Obama, amidst a stunning show of support at Denver’s Mile High Stadium became the first African American to be nominated for the White House by a major party. I’m proud to be part of that party, proud to be part of a network of artists and designers using their tools and trade to further Barack’s cause, our cause, and more proud to be an American than I have ever been in my 33 years. Barack Obama = Change. The kind you can belive in.

I feel honored to have been there. Lets hope the slimy misinformation campaign against him is unsuccessful. The message truly transcends party affiliation.
Hope > Hate
August 29, 11:01 am Josh HollandWell said gentlemen. Did you guys take a peek at who Herr McCain is anointing his Vice? Sarah Palin, the Gov of Alaska! What experience does she have… well one thing I know is that she voted against ruling Polar Bears as an endangered species. That basically gives you an idea of where her ass is (obviously trying to shit her head out).
August 29, 11:46 am Lifter Baron<<< KISS OF DEATH. The oldest president ever (i.e. most likely to DIE), whose successor is the most inexperienced VP pick EVER. This is an obvious ploy and a gimmick to snag these supposed "Hilary voters for McCain" people. Guess what? THEY DON'T EXIST! They're a handful of self-important crybabies that truly do not matter. No true supporter of women's rights would EVER vote for McCain. Not to mention Obama's experience is officially off the table now. Its a good day for Obama!
August 29, 12:05 pm Josh HollandJosh + I, were so inspired after leaving the speech last night! It was even a better experience sitting around people who have had “ENOUGH” and willing to do whatever it took to get Barack Obama elected as our next President! The positive energy in the air was such a remarkable feeling that I have not felt in a very long time! Even in the hour long waits in lines to the gates and going through security, the long hike to our seat, I do not recall one person complaining, just everyone saying how excited they were part of history and they were going to make history happen by elected Barack Obama! My hands still hurt from clapping so damn hard! It was also my first time I have ever done the “wave” which is a little ironic that I did it for a political event instead of a sports event! I can go on and on…but it was a truly an amazing experience to be there! And Josh and I feel very lucky to have won the “credentials” and witness history happen right before our eyes!
August 29, 12:08 pm Tran WillsI have no doubt that Barack Obama is going to be one of the top US presidents in history! He’s going to CHANGE the world!
