ADAM HAYNES RULES!!!

Pe popped in to the shop today and let us in on some of Adam Hayne’s (stickfort) new work.  Put simply - it rules.  Adam has been painting up a storm.  Two of his most recent paintings are displayed below.  The top painting, entitled ‘77 is available through Adam’s site as a limited edition screenprint.  You can get more info here.  At $30.00, they’re gonna go fast, and you’re gonna be sad.  So make some moves.  Mr. Haynes has definitely carved out a niche as one of the top (no longer up’n'coming - he’s there) illustrators of our day, and he’s definitely a man to watch.  We recommend doing just that, keeping your eyes on Adam and all of the brilliant artwork he creates.  Nice work Mr. Haynes.

ADAM HAYNES IN THE STORE

We’ve been busting ass on the store, getting all the product up to date and adding new shit. Keep an eye out for all sorts of new art, toys and apparel. Here are the new Adam Haynes “Hot Pow” shirts. Two colors, both awesome. Get ‘em while they’re hot.

ADAM HAYNES IS A MANIAC

We posted a seriously nasty illustration series of Adam’s a while back. We’ve since been blessed with the first ever Haynes t-shirts (which are awesome, in our shop, and we’ll put ‘em up here shortly) thanks to our bro Pe who helped Adam dial all of his water-based printing in (BigUps to Dong for pullin’ some wicked-good water-based inks), and we just got a peek at this 4×4 poster he did for Nike 6.0. All I can say is, he’s dancing like he’s never danced before. To checkout more of what Adam’s been up to jump over to stickfort.com.

MR. HAYNES & OUR BRO, PE

Adam Haynes, the illustrator extraodinaire behind stickfort has teamed up with our long time bro, Pe, founder of fatchen & dirtyragz to slam out some fresh new tees, and if all goes well - some limited edition screen printed posters too. We’re stoked to hear about the collab, it sounds like a winning combo. We can’t wait to get some of Adam’s new gear up in the shop. Adam and Pe have been workin’ pretty closely on dialin’ shit in. Pe just sent over Haynes new interior label graphic for his tees for us to peep. Pretty kray, eh?

STICKFORT - ADAM HAYNES - ARTIST INSIGHT

Our homey Pe, from fatchen.com, has been rappin’ a bunch lately with Bend, Oregon’s very own Adam Haynes (stickfort.com). Adam’s one of the nastiest illustrators up on the scene right now - or rather, off the scene and out ridin’ in the mountains doin’ what the rest of us wish we were doin’. Adam sent over a series of illustrations offering some insight into one of his recent projects for Nike. Take a good hard look cuz this shit is seriously ill, and peep what the artist has to say about his work.

“This piece took about a week start to finish. Initial sketches done at half size with less detail, then came a bit down the road as the full detail/full size sketch, then ink, then color is by Nemo Design.

This ad is from the Vertigo Series of Nike 6.0 ads. It has been in magazines the last couple of months. There are also similar ads for skate, snowboarding, motoX, surfing, and wakeboarding. All were done from the driver’s seat in a vast, highly detailed fantasy landscape filled with a world of possibility for the sport involved. Sort of a fish eye view of the ideal bmx world.” - Adam Haynes
