Nice little video whether you’re familiar with AJ’s work or not. We’ve been following his career for some time now (he used to have a studio at the old Andenken building). I’ve seen a few of his later pieces at David B. Smith Gallery and would love to pick one up in the future.

David B. Smith has yet again packed his Denver gallery with a terrific array of new artworks, by some serious young and contemporary art world heavies. Several of these artists, Lori Field, AJ Fosik, Robert Hardgrave, and Naoto Hattori are returning to the Gallery, having been very well received during past shows.
A number of them are new to the Gallery, including Bruno 9li, Tara Lisa Foley, Katherine Guillen, Kristian Kluver (local Boulder art/design star), and Hiro Kurata. These artists bring new ideas and creative approaches, each reflecting their own unique way of viewing the world around them.
A preview of the show can seen here. The show opens February 28th through March 21st, 2009.

Our close friend and collaborator Kristian Kluver is joining the ranks over at David B. Smith Gallery for their second group show of 2009. The show title Group Exhibition, Part2 will include works from the following: Bruno 9li, Lori Field, Tara Lisa Foley, AJ Fosik, Katherine Guillen, Robert Hardgrave, Naoto Hattori, Hiro Kurata, Kristian Kluver and maybe a few others.
Kluver will be showing the infamous Box Pig as well as some other top secret pieces.

The lovely folks over at Limited Addiction Gallery just put up the pieces for their next show, Grant Barnhart, Saiman Chow and AJ Fosik. I’m personally super stoked to see AJ’s wood cut animal heads. The only other one I’ve seen in person was back in the day at The Friends Show. For those of you who don’t know, AJ’s studio used to be in the basement of Andenken, but he’s since moved on. You can see the rest of the work here and be sure to check out the opening on Friday the 22nd.
