RANDALL SCOTT - SUPER SWEET CYCLING SHOP

By: Lucian Foehr

We’ve been doin’ a lotta work this past week for our client/homey Randall Scott (rscycle.com) in an effort to pimp his shop a bit and help get his team ready for their showroom opening tomorrow, Saturday April 21st. All the t-shirts, decals, buttons, signage, water bottles, and print materials we put together are rollin’ in today thanks to our alliance with the Anthem Branding posse (Pistol Pete is our boy!) Last night we rolled up on Randall’s shop with the crew and threw up a little aerosol installation in his changing room. We’re gonna get back over there today and rap it up. Randall Scott Cycle shop is as fly as a bike shop gets.

ANTHEM BRANDING LAUNCHES NEW SITE!

By: JoyEngine

The ANTHEM BRANDING crew is like family. Our arty homeboy, Josh Holland, calls Anthem home during the work day (yeah, the same Josh that’s having his first ever solo show at JoyEngine in April - SICK!). Anthem was founded by our close personal friend, Ted Church just prior to 2007. Ted handles shit to say the least and the Anthem team kicks out DOPE product day after day (we produce a good deal of our gear and associated collateral with the Anthem crew). With recent additions of Pistol Pete and Dr. Joel, Anthem is on the up’n'up and makin’ moves.

We just got done tag-teaming Anthem’s new site with Josh and Ted. We borrowed a little JoyEngine steez and mashed it up with Ted’s euro-clean sensibility and some of Holland’s Nintendo inspired artwork (see the “design” page). Peep the site and be on the look out for fresh product and new ideas from these guys. There always up to something. abnewsite.jpg

HOSHI LUDWIG

By: JoyEngine

Our homey Hoshi Ludwig, illustrator, animator, designer, preacher of positivism - got bored at lunch today and sent us over a wicked cool type treatment and seriously ill character. Have a look. Hoshi is a rad guy and in my humble opinion, one of the most up’n'coming designers in the region. We met Hosh during his stint over at Anthem Branding workin’ with our bro, Ted Church (the manufactured goods magician) and we immediately hit it off. Hosh is now back in Denver doin’ his reanaissance man designer thang over at Factory Design, and kickin’ ass. Go Get ‘em Hosh. We’re lookin’ forward to seein’ you tonight, bro.

PAINACIA by JOSH HOLLAND

By: JoyEngine

I must admit this was my favorite piece in our opening show, Josh Holland’s, Painacia. I bumped into Josh at dinner with his coworker and good buddy Joel from over at anthembranding.com, two super rad fellas. This piece sold as it should have and we were all sad to see it go. I’m pretty sure Josh was ready to let it go after the back breaking hours he put into it. We’ll see if goes for something of this caliber any time soon. Josh will be showing new work at JoyEngine on April 13th. Mark your calendars.

ANTHEM IS THE NEW PINK

By: JoyEngine

Ted Church is rockin’ it over Anthem Branding. Ted and his posse (including Josh Holland, whose name we dropped a couple days ago) design and produce progressive, way ahead of the curve promotional products. We work with Ted on all sorts of projects from screen printed t-shirts, to trick aluminum dog tags, to really tight custom messenger bags. If it requires BIG attention to detail, manufacturing or production, and must be DOPE, Anthem Branding is the team to work with.
