The lovely folks over at Limited Addiction Gallery just put up the pieces for their next show, Grant Barnhart, Saiman Chow and AJ Fosik. I’m personally super stoked to see AJ’s wood cut animal heads. The only other one I’ve seen in person was back in the day at The Friends Show. For those of you who don’t know, AJ’s studio used to be in the basement of Andenken, but he’s since moved on. You can see the rest of the work here and be sure to check out the opening on Friday the 22nd.

We stumbled upon a nice little sneak peak of a TADO print. After some investigation we found out it was for the upcoming “Limited Edition” show over there in the UK. The show will be a group exhibition to raise money and awareness for endangered species! The artist list is huge and star studded. You can get the whole low down over at the show’s site. Looks like we’re going on a road trip…

Magic beans are awesome and so was the show! Anthony Salazar, Josh Holland, Mike Gallegos, Mike Graves, Markham Maes, Sean Gilbert and Scot Lefavor produced some awesome work. It was especially great to see Markham and Graves collabing all over the place. We apologize in advance for all the artwork that didn’t get photographed, we had some battery issues. Regardless, all the pieces looked awesome. The show will be running for the rest of the month, so go check it out!

Last Friday Installation Shoe Gallery threw an artsy shindig to celebrate their latest installation. Jon Strieby covered the entire store/gallery with awesome figurative pieces on cut wood panels. We were in and out during the install process and can confidently say that shit came together! Jon’s work is simple yet intriguing and with such a large body there’s plenty to look at. His “hand letters” are excellently executed. We got to see all sorts of local celebrities including our favs of the shoe crew; Big Ant Hull and Seth Bruce, Mr. Vaughn Dice from Milk Baby, Raul always rockin’ the freshest kicks and a whole bunch of others (we even got a real life glimpse of the Satellite + Dekline collab). All in all, the latest installation is a huge hit!
