A TOAST TO SCOTTY

Scotty has this crazy ability to open toys. He jiggles the boxes, smells the glue, squeezes the packages, sits back and then gets the toy he wants. It’s pretty crazy. I’ve watched him pick through the Dunny Azteca series, our new Gloomy blind box, and yesterday he rocked the FatCaps. He didn’t get the magic ticket (you win a years worth of spray paint from Montana) but he did get the mystery figure. I swear, he probably sleeps in a bed of mystery figures. And it’s contagious. He roused me from the back office and I ended up going for the whole Moofia series (7 of 8, I have a bit of a hot hand myself). So heres to you Scotty, you lucky bastard. May your luck continue and spread to all those in the near vicinity.

Dunny goes south of the border with Azteca Dunny Series!

Curated by Headquarter in Mexico City, the Azteca Dunny series showcases some of the hottest names in Mexican art, fashion, graphic design, music, and industrial design. The brightly colored series captures the creative passion of Mexico’s artistic community. The objective of the series was to bring to the surface the very essence of Mexican street arts, underground culture, and diverse history.

Artists featured in this series include:
Artemio, Beast Brothers, Carlos Dufour, Ed Sison, El Muerto, Jenkah, Saner DSR, v.m.06, Queque Rangel, Mocre, Kraken and N.A.H.U.A.L.

These aren’t all the figures, obviously, just the ones we opened for display purposes. Shitty Kitten just bought a grip of them. Oh and the red one is a mystery figure. Hot.

Dan Funderburgh has teamed up with the masterminds at Animal New York and Geekhouse Bikes to create artwork for a Barack track bike.
