We’re one day away. If you possess any semblance of intelligence you know there’s only one man to vote for. He is the better man. The more intelligent man. The more humble man. A man not looking to merely win a contest, but to improve the quality of life for all Americans and to reach out and reconnect America with the rest of the World. That man is Barack Obama. I for one, sincerely hope you vote for him tomorrow, on November 4th, quite possibly one of the most defining and momentous days in the history of the world as we know it.
While a good majority of US citizens have already chosen the candidate they’ll be voting for in the coming presidential election (Barack Obama was the clear choice for me), a great many have not. If you’re on the fence, or just a tad bit inquisitive, visit the following links outlining each candidates stance on the issues and then take the following online tests to help with the decision making process.
*NOTE – While each presidential candidate has put their best forward in stating how they’d like to handle the issues addressed, in all likelihood actual implemented policies will vary to some degree due to numerous political factors.

Our good buddy Jeremy from ToyCyte dropped us a line regarding this radical art/toy show. Here’s the dealio:
Jailbreak Toys, makers of the Barack Obama Action Figure, will present ART + ACTION = Obama 08 at Toy Tokyo’s gallery: The Showroom NYC on October 17th. Billboard bandit and pop surrealist Ron English will also be signing Abraham Obama posters at the show. ToyCyte is the media sponsor of ART + ACTION = Obama 08 and will be posting exclusive news and previews of the customs every day counting down to the event.
Shepard Fairey and Dj Z-Trip have been throwing fundraisers for the Obama Campaign called “Party For Change.” Z-Trip recordered one of the live sets and has put it up for free download.
“I think this election is way too important to just be silent, so I am trying to do my part here.”

With cases of voter caging already threatening to disenfranchise voters in the key states of Ohio and Michigan, everyone needs to make certain that they’re registered at their CURRENT ADDRESSES, and soon! Registration deadlines are rapidly approaching, and the powers that be would rather you didn’t have a voice. This happens every election people! Back in ‘04 I couldn’t figure out how to vote in Ohio because the Republicans were refusing new registration forms that weren’t on a certain weight of paper! This sort of thing is already happening in important states, so please make sure EVERYONE you know in those states goes HERE and double checks their registration status. Do this, even if you think you’re registered. Many people have already been shocked to find their names missing!
Sarah Palin is out campaigning with John McCain in PA, while her church is busy hunting demons. Her congregation must be lost without her. Thank “GOD” she’ll be back to help soon. Meanwhile, Colorado is still a tossup as far as the Electoral College is concerned. Fortunately, there’s some other wise states making up for us and Obama still has a stronghold on the Electoral vote. Scary however, to know many of your neighbors are more concerned with “doing GOD’s will” then worrying about the real issues America faces. If you live in Colorado and haven’t registered to vote, or you are registered but need to update your address – please do so HERE. And, once you’ve got registration in check, educate yourself, seek out the real issues, listen to our candidates, filter the propaganda and media hype, and think about your future, and the future of your families, children, friends, fellow Americans, and the future of our great nation. Then cast your ballot on Tuesday, November 4th.
OK kids, the time for cheerleading is over. With the election astoundingly close (not in the electoral college thankfully) and the GOP hijacking Obama’s message, we all need the right kind of ammunition to battle the misinformation being pumped into the media. Here’s your first hand grenade:
Thomas Friedman, the NY Times columnist and Pulitzer Prize winning author of Lexus and the Olive Tree and From Beirut to Jerusalem, has completed a new book entitled Hot, Flat, and Crowded. The book addresses the climate crisis and “green” technology as it relates to US foreign and domestic policy. He was interviewed in today’s edition of Fresh Air, and makes a strong case that you should all be aware of.
Listen to it HERE, make sure you REGISTER to vote at your CURRENT ADDRESS, and educate yourself on the real issues at hand. Don’t take this election for granted, the Republicans are just getting started with their campaign of lies and distortion. The only change they represent is a change of puppets.
