Dalek

By: Todd Berger

My bro Dave Wendt just reminded me to go peep Dalek’s site in regards to an ongoing design discussion we’ve been having.  I hadn’t been there in a bit.  It’s real nice.  His work looks real good within the confines of his new site.  Something that can often be tricky to do with great art – bring it to the web.  Have a look and peep Jame’s blog here – it’s fresh, he’s workin’ on some really large works.

ICEBOTS ARE GENTLE CREATURES…

By: JoyEngine

Over the weekend I took a trip to Antartica to do some design research. During my travels I met many friendly inhabitants and heard dozens of tales in regards to mysterious sightings of tiny creatures known to creep around the ice covered landscape. These creatures are said to be of unknown origin and are rarley seen in person. We’ve heard that the artist, Dalek is the only human being with whom they directly communicate?

DALEK – 10″ ICE-BOTS

By: JoyEngine

Fresh on the shelf, 10″ Ice-Bots by Dalek. Not only are they one of my favorite characters, but they are maybe the single most rad Dalek toy. 10″ of sick vinyl all for $20. Get them in black, white or my personal favorite, red. Check ‘em out on the online store.

I’M A LUCKY BASTARD

By: JoyEngine

So working at a toy store has it’s perks. We just recieved a small order (10pcs) of Dalek Spacebot Qees. As I was recieving the items into inventory, I noticed that one of the boxes was signed. Yoink. Mine. So yeah, that’s pretty awesome, but it gets better. I open my new SIGNED dalek box and guess what, it’s the f*ing mystery figure. Sha Bam. That’s one for the records.

Jealous? You should be.
