MANNY VISITS FAILE!!!

By: Todd Berger

Our pal Mauel Bello, dropped in on the ever illusive FAILE for fecalface.com.  After being blindfolded by the two the Patricks Manny was escorted to their studios of undisclosed locations and had a chance to inspect their latest work for their upcoming show in London.  Mind-blowing to say the least.  All paint - no paste.

RUN TO THE HILLS - RECAP

By: Todd Berger

We popped in to Andenken Gallery Friday night on our way to Ogi’s and Josh’s shows to see how their inaugral group show after the move came together. We’ve gotta hand it to Hyland for really dialin’ the Block Building in. He’s turned it into quite a space (the ping pong table is a welcomed bonus). The “Run to the Hills” show was awesome, particularly if you’re a street art coniesseur. The show featured work by Bast, Aiko (previously of the Faile collective), Skewville, and Elbowtoe. Have a look. The work speaks for itself. If you haven’t made it over to the Block Building yet make a point of stopping by, it’s well worth the trip to just admire the space, let alone the art.

FAILE SHOW PICS!!! LOVE MANUEL BELLO

By: JoyEngine

We’re proud to announce that due to our homey, Manuel Bello we’re droppin’ perhaps the first online gallery of “FAILE’S” top secret art show pics straight outta NYC (the only other detailed glimnpse we know of is at woostercollective.com). A full review will be available tomorrow at one of our major sources of online inspiration, fecalface.com.

We’re gonna turn it over to Manuel, so here goes, “What up Colorado and beyond! I have been telling the man behind the curtain over there at Joy Engine for some time that I would get him some flicks from shit going down out here in NYC. Well, since I also know there is also a little gang of wheat paste bandits running amuck in your neck of the woods I figure you would all love to feast your eyes on the Faile show. This show was large, with nearly 60 pieces on two levels, not counting the wooden cartons, and almost 30 of the pieces at 7 foot plus. Did I mention the 5 foot bronze bunny boy, sick!” - Manuel

Dig on this, cause it’s hot, real hot, like 5 minutes old hot - thanks to Manuel snappin’ pics, bustin’ ass and hustlin’ ‘em our way. Wordup Manuel - nasty good work!
