My good buddy and pro illustrator Thom Glick has started the Sketch-A-Day Challenge, inviting his artsy allies to post one sketch every day for a year. I just jumped on the bandwagon this week (my page), but a few challengers have been running strong for a few weeks already. I’ve invited some Joyengine certified talent to jump on board, and new challengers will be popping up any day now. This isn’t a competition mind you, but I’m going to post my 3 faves every Friday. Heavy hitters in there for sure!

Our good pal, politcally active ally and favorite artist/illustrator, Josh Holland has been makin’ all sorts of new creative moves. Josh has been workin’ quite diligently on updating his portfolio and breakin’ out more of his signature illustration style. You can catch a sample of what he’s been up to at his NEW temp. site – until he finishes the real deal (a totally new and robust site will be coming soon!). He’s been working on some new paintings as well, but more on those later. Keep on eye on Holland- cuz he’s bringin’ the freshness.
