John Fellows and Kris Fry just had a collaborative show at the Plastic Chapel. We didn’t make it down for the show, but Matt Doubek is here and he brought down a little goodie bag from the show (1 print, 1 sticker, 1 button and a little zine). The work from the zine looks awesome, and we’re super bummed we didn’t make it down. If any of you other contributors made it and happened to take photos, please put them up!

We’re stoked to spread the love on this one… This Saturday, May 10th at the Plastic Chapel on Colfax… COLLABORATION at it’s finest!!! John Fellows and Kris Fry have teamed up to break out In Cahoots, a super-collaborative endeavor conspired and created over the past 2 months. This seriously graphically skilled duo will be droppin’ silk screen posters, lino cuts, drawings, and an all new zine for the show. The work’ll be rad for certain – stop by.

We know it’s pathetic, but we finally had the opportunity to visit the 400’s newest shop on Larimer. You’d think we’d have made it down there by now. Regardless, we were super stoked to get to see the shop and hang out with Kris Fry, lead 400 designer/good pal, and one of the master minds behind the 400’s explosive growth. The new shop is HOT and we’re proud to show it off on behalf of our homies. We didn’t make it to Double Butter’s opening at the 400’s Bannock shop last Friday (be sure to check it out if you get a chance), but the DB duo worked closely with the 400 on the interior of their new Larimer spot. Friday, August 21st 2009 Illiterate brings its mission of promoting creative collaboration to Denver’s Space gallery with “CMYK+RGB”, an interactive arts event exploring the interactions between print and digital media. Count on print and digital installations, live screen printing, a fashion show and a print exhibition.
Ravi Zupa will be showing new works tonight at INDYINK. It’s gonna be a cash & carry program. There’ll be some inexpensive works, kick down, and roll home with new art!!!
