By: Todd Berger

Phu!, one of our most favorite toy customizers in the whole wide world just wrapped up his latest project.  A ridiculously modified Illazilla.  Most radical.

Phu! x Qee = Atrax

By: Todd Berger

It’s been a while since we’ve dropped any of our pal Phu!’s custom creations.  But, Phu! just wrapped up a new custom Qee from Toy2R for a private collector, and snuck in his signature 2″ Rebel Pilot.  In typical Phu! style he created this custom from a pretty amazing array of everyday materials including, Bamboo sticks, beads, brass rivets, broken toy parts, cable ties, cotton fabrics, disposable spoons, Gashapon acrylic spheres, wire… and some other crazy stuff you can probably only find in Singapore.

PHU! x DOO = ORION!!!

By: Todd Berger

Phu! just finished dominating his S&F™ handmade DOO.  When it comes to customs, Phu! is pretty tough to beat.  He took DOO to a whole new place… Rumor has it he’s even got Kluver a little nervous… and he’s not an easy guy to rattle when it comes to custom shit.  Awesome.

PHU x SHARKY = SONIC!

By: Todd Berger

Phu is the stuff of legend in the art toy world.  His signature custom style is permeating toy culture at a near alarming rate, and it’s totally justified.  The guy is good.  Check out his latest creation, a completely customized and reinvented ToyQube Sharky.  More on Phu’s site

PHU! – AVATAR 7

By: Todd Berger

Phu! just completed his 10″ custom YOKA Panda for Cardboard Spaceship’s upcoming exhibition ‘Beasts of Burden’ at Subtext in San Diego. The Avatar 7 patrol spacecraft comes with 2 Rebel Pilots.  Avatar 7 was brought to life utilizing cardboard, cable ties, hose clamps, plastic bottle camps, plastic hose, wire and of course Phu!’s signature extra-nasty paint steez.  Wicked.

PHU X MadL = SPECTRUM

By: Todd Berger

Phu is killin’ it!  His latest creation, Spectrum, takes Mad*L’s classic toy design to new heights.  Rad.

Phu! x Bootleg Kaws Chum = Eclipse

By: Todd Berger

Our pal Phu just doesn’t stop… customizing the shit outta some of the best toys around.  We can’t get enough of his work.  I frikin’ love it!  His incessantly updated site is pretty amazing too.  If you haven’t really dug in yet, you oughtta.   This time it’s a 9″ Bootleg Kaws Chum customized using acrylic paint, one bamboo stick, brass rivets, Phu’s signature zip ties, cloth, plastic bottle caps, and some screws… damn.  Creativity taken out on toys the way it should be.

TONS OF NEW WORK FROM PHU!

By: Todd Berger

Phu! has been busy customizing loads of new toys in an effort to keep up with the crazy number of commissions he’s been receiving. He’s started posting before and after pics of all his work on his blog, and it’s pretty amazing. He just finished up a custom Fatima (one of Sam Flores’s little ladies) and totally took it to another level. It’s great to see Phu!s interpretation of some of the toy worlds modern classics. Yeah Phu! – totally Phuturistic.
