WEB DESIGN/BUILD 1.0
04.22.08
Krezel sent us a pretty spectacular link to an old post on PingMag, a Tokyo based magazine about “design” and “making things.” I finally got a chance to review it, and while dated (published in 2005) it’s super awesome. The website design and development process is often confusing for many designers and clients alike. There’s all sorts of ways to go about attacking a web-based design project, some better and more tried and true than others. The process detailed here on PingMag is definitely rudimentary, but in its simplicity hits on all the main areas of consideration. Whether client, new designer, established designer, web super-hero, or whatever you think you are… it’s worth a read. The accompanying photography is pretty brilliant and helps to make a rather dry subject fun and new.
