APPLIED IDEAS VOL. 3 – MCA DENVER

Ian Coyle and the MCA Denver will be hosting Applied Ideas: Talks on Design – Volume 3 this evening.  The event begins and 7:30.  This evenings speakers include Rick Griffith (MATTER), Chris Cox (Changethethought), Aaron Ray (Legwork Studio), and Ian Coyle (Superheroes, Inc.).  Should be a fun and intriguing discussion.

 

PECHA KUCHA NIGHT – DENVER vol 3

Pecha Kucha Night Denver volume 3 is coming up on Monday, September 29th!
The Japanese presentation format returns to Denver with a group of eight creatives – Architects, Designers, and Artists – who will share their creative work in 20 images for 20 seconds each.

A number of our favorite local creatives are participating:
Daniel Crosier, Artist
Amanda Lueck Grell, Writer
Rick Griffith, Graphic Designer
Lenny Maiorani, Photographer
Mike Moore, Architect
Chris Weed, Sculptor
Tran and Josh Wills, Fashion/Graphic designers and shop owners
Monika Wittig, Architect

Doors open at 8 pm and the presentations will begin at 8:20 pm.
Our hosts again are Buntport Theater, 717 Lipan St. and there is a $5 suggested donation.

RAFA JENN @ THE 400 FRIDAY, APRIL 6TH

RAFA JENN is having an Art + Print presale party at The 400 this Friday, April 6th from 7-10pm. There’s gonna be limited edition t-shrits by “Grae”, Limited Edition screenprints by Rick Griffith from “MATTER” and painting collaborations with both Jason Thielke and Scot Lefavor. There’ll be live music by Cacheflow – Snacks and Beers!

This is gonna be a stellar show. RAFA JENN’s new work is super hot! I had a chance to preview the RAFA JENN x Scot Lefavor collab., and it’s FRESH – 4sure. Props to RAFA JENN and The 400 for putting together such a rad lineup for Friday night. We’re all geeked up.
