It’s been almost 2 years in the making, but the Baby Eater Belt Buckles are now available for purchase. Only 60 in the world, the buckles and packaging were made 100% by hand in Boulder, CO by cypher13 and Rocket Fly. We’ll also be dropping a limited edition t-shirt (also an edition of 60) come Monday.
You can pick up your buckle at the cypher13 online store. You even get to pick your number – unless it’s already gone!!!

Kristian Kluver has just completed his second conceptual exploration into the realm of the BOX PIG. This latest iteration, BOX PIG #2, has been realized on a entirely new, and improved level. Look for more members of the BOX PIG family over the coming months. From what it sounds and feels like, Kluver is just getting warmed up.
NOTE: BOX PIG #2 is 16″ tall x 14″ wide x 19″ deep (mouth to rear)

Kluver’s been workin’ on a super hot new sneaker specific body of work. It looks like it’s gonna turn into an installation for the new adidas Originals store in Miami. The verdict is still out. The work keeps evolving and each iteration gets better than the last. We’ll just have to wait and see where Kristian stops and what adidas has to say…

For those of you not familiar with Kristian Kluver, and that’s a great many – he’s quite brilliant, exceptionally talented, and one of my favorite artist/designer/fabricators. Kluver gingerly navigates between the 2-d graphic and 3-d physical realm – a place most aren’t entirely comfortable. After a recent hard-drive failure, and some file reshuffling I stumbled upon some old Kluver imagery, nestled down deep inside the guts of HAL (our central server). The images included form the foundation for a body of work Kluver aptly titled FUCKFACE. I could go into detailed explanation of how the images were created, and where their roots lie, but that’s insider-only shit. These images did leave the digital world in a couple of applications. Unfortunately, the only complete set was discarded some time ago… by me (whole ‘nother tale). Regardless, this little post is my homeage to the gritty-mean imagery that is FUCKFACE. Enjoy, and then be honest with yourself and pick your favorite. Come on. Their’s one in there for everyone.

Derek Friday, recently brought his family back to Boulder, CO for both career and lifestyle reasons. We’re super stoked to have Derek back as he brings a wealth of talent and design experience to our little creative community. Much thanks goes out to Kluver for pulling Derek into our fray. Derek’s custom DOO for SOFT&FURRY™ is the first of many future cypher13/KLVR/Derek Friday collaborations. I can’t wait to see what comes next!!!

But don’t let it get you down. We’ve come to terms with it and use it as a big motivator. And, we think we’re pretty damn crafty. Think about that. Then go visit rocket-fly.com, there’s an illustration of your new girlfriend. Then go home and make a sculpture of a giant phallic monster. Right?
