BIG WOOD… BEARING GIFTS!

By: Todd Berger

Brian “Big Wood” Wood, the “man” portion of the mini empire he and Kim Boos are creating around the corner, dropped by the shop today. Between running their super dynamic and multi-layered businesses (literally), including, Tee and Cakes, Haute Cakes, Side B Apparel and now Handlebar Press (their screenprinting operation), Big Wood still makes time for his friends. Brian dipped in our shop today with a super rad print I’d seen him working on yesterday morning. I’d snuck below Tee and Cakes into her underbelly and found “Woody” (yeah RYC!!!) pullin’ screens. I pointed out how fresh I thought one of his “test” prints was… And, now it’s ours!!! Thanks Big Wood.

TEE & CAKES: COFFEE, BAKERY, APPAREL

By: JoyEngine

Brain Wood from Side B Apparel and Kim Boos from Haute Cakes have teamed up to bring you Tee & Cakes. They offer an assortment of killer pastries (kim ain’t fuckin’ around) and awesome apparel (from shirts to hoodies to scarves, all locally designed and printed). They’re located over on 14th and Pearl (1932 14th St. Boulder, CO 80302 for you out of towners). They open at the crack of dawn - 7am - and go all day. I’m personally a fan of the chocolate croissant and the new Side B hoodies look dope. Check ‘em out if you’re in the neighborhood.

SIDE B APPAREL IN DA HAUS

By: JoyEngine

Brian Wood, our close homey, co-conspirator, housemate to the now world famous Scot Lefavor, need we mention founder of and designer for Side B Apparel, just sent over some hot new pics of all the gear he’s been workin’ on. Side B is turnin’ into one line you need to know about and stay on top of, cuz Mr. Wood is makin’ moves and takin’ prisoners. I’ve been lucky enough to acquire some Side B gear from the “Wood” himself, and can’t say enough good things about it. Keep your eyes peeled for Side B goodies to start droppin’ in your hood. Word to the “Wood.”
