Mike Graves life involves lots of painting. Since we met Mike a couple years ago, we’ve never known a time when he wasn’t working on a new series of paintings for a new show. He blows our minds every time. This go round it’s Lucha Libre at The 400. The show opens on Thursday, July 17th. Check it out.

My man Gumby is back with a solo show titled “Cutty Town” over at The 400 that is sure to impress. Not only am I stoked to see some new Gumby goodness up on the walls, it’s also just a damn good time over there at The 400. From the rad shows they have there every third Thursdays (wall pieces there lately have been ridiculous), from the dope beats to the tasty treats, they rock it well, everytime. See you there tonighta!!!

The 400 will be hosting a super rad release party for the New Balance Super Team 33 collection on Saturday, March 1st. You might be thinking, “What is Super Team 33? Well, here’s the deal… Out of the 6 New Balance factories in the USA, one of the best is located in Skowhegan, Maine - a district famous for its shoe manufacturing. From the engineers in the factory, a special production line was built, made up of the best 28 workers and 5 craftsmen (longest career 25 years, total career of 33 workers: 265.5 years). The collection made from these talented workers was named “Super Team 33″, because of its production line #33, and because of the total number of workers on the team. They value “high quality” and “aggressiveness”, and create the best quality shoes in New Balance.
There only 33 stores on planet earth that carry this product. The 400 is one of 8 in the US!

What a show! Our very own JE Contributor Aaron Ray crushed it, the work was awesome, the titles hilarious and the wall is up there in my top 3 for The 400. We got to catch up with the likes of Chris Cox, Mike HYP, Randy and Fry (of course), SBD’s bro made it down, Stevesey, Scot Lefavor even showed us some bike tricks and the man of the night Aaron Ray. We even got to check out some Hairy Wheels Gravis! The work was crazy affordable, so if you didn’t make it - go buy some art! Awesome job Aaron, we can’t wait ’till your next show!

Fresh N-E-W watercolors by MOEH at The 400 this Friday. Be sure to stop in our homies and check out MOEH’s new work. For those of you not totally locked into the loop The 400 now has two locations. Their gallery openings are located in the Golden Triangle at the original location on 1010 Bannock Street. Their new shop is located in Curtis Park on 2445 Larimer. If you’re thinkin’ about headin’ down for more than just art and wanna get your sneaker buzz on be sure to hit up both spots as the 400 krew stocks different kicks on each side of town.

We know it’s pathetic, but we finally had the opportunity to visit the 400’s newest shop on Larimer. You’d think we’d have made it down there by now. Regardless, we were super stoked to get to see the shop and hang out with Kris Fry, lead 400 designer/good pal, and one of the master minds behind the 400’s explosive growth. The new shop is HOT and we’re proud to show it off on behalf of our homies. We didn’t make it to Double Butter’s opening at the 400’s Bannock shop last Friday (be sure to check it out if you get a chance), but the DB duo worked closely with the 400 on the interior of their new Larimer spot. Check it out:
