Michael Kwong from the Galaxy Bunch is getting after some custom toys! To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Galaxy Bunch, Michael plans on touring the world with over 100 custom 8in Alpha Ultimate toys. He sent us some pictures of his first 9 (which already sold so he’ll have to make 109 now!). First off, the Alpha Ultimate blank is amazing, secondly, Michael is doing a phenomenal job customizing it! We can’t wait to keep tabs on his progress, you can keep up too via his site and flickr account!

We’re psyched to announce the release of CHI-B0 by Chi-Kit Kwong, Michael Kwong’s (of The Galaxy Bunch) younger brother. Chi-Kit Kwong explains his new toys best in saying, “I believe in the significance of individuality. The individual is ultimately the most valuable and main ingredient of humanity. The characters of Chi-Bo celebrate and reflect the beauty of humor.” CHI-BO will be introduced at Taipei Toy Festival, Toyko Wonder festival and SDCC 2008. The series as a whole is called Chibot and comes with a twist. Every two months, five new characters plus a secret character will be released until a total of 60 characters are introduced. A bonus to Chibot is that a small comic book will come with each package, containing different stories. In addition, mystery components of the sixth character (the secret one) come with each toy. When you’ve collected all five characters, you will automatically have the secret character. Rad!
